Letter to Parents
I would like to first thank you for showing interest in my beloved organization. Eta Mu is a chapter of Kappa Delta that prides itself on continuously raising our standards; encouraging our group of diverse women to present themselves as women of character, while supporting their sisters, campus, and community.
I have loved my time here at Georgia College, especially within Kappa Delta. Going into my senior year, I know that I would not be the woman I am today without the love and support from these Kappa Delta women. It is amazing to see the growth of not only myself, but others in the chapter and the chapter as a whole. One of our main purposes is to build confidence, which is something I believe Eta Mu has excelled in. Sisters will always be there for you, they will believe in you and in turn you can believe in yourself. This kind of personal change is crucial during these short few years of college. Personally, I have changed immensely. I have found so much confidence and strength within myself that has always been there, but my sisters brought it out to a new level. I will be eternally grateful to this chapter and what it has done for me.
2018 marks Eta Mu’s 10th year here on Georgia College’s campus and so far we have worked very hard to be the best chapter possible. I am so proud every day to be a Kappa Delta because not only do we have a supportive sisterhood, we also have an involved sisterhood. Leadership is very important to our values and sisters always rise to the occasion. We show our different interests, personalities, backgrounds, beliefs, etc. through what we do outside of Kappa Delta. Eta Mu has sisters are involved throughout organizations on campus, ranging from helping collect food for Baldwin County to Student Government. These differences only make this chapter stronger because everyone can give their point of view. It breeds friendship and sisterhood in the realest sense and I know I will have my sisters for a lifetime after Georgia College. Thank you for allowing me to show you some of the love Kappa Delta has show me.
